The last time Big Red had been to Hanging Rock was June of last year -- way too long. That's kind of indicative of the year he had.
Thankfully, Red ventured back yesterday. He tried to talk himself out of it: too cold, too lonely, too taxing...you know what the voices say. Red didn't listen...too much.
His climb up from the park entrance wasn't the fastest ever, but for a first time in eight months? Not too shabby.
